St. Luke’s Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce that Roberta Ratterree, has joined the board of trustees and will serve a three-year term.

Born in Monroe, N.C., Roberta moved to Spartanburg, S.C. as a child. She graduated from high school in Spartanburg and went to the University of South Carolina in Columbia. After graduation from USC, she began working for C&S National Bank in Spartanburg. After several bank mergers, she finished her career at Bank of America in Tryon, with 34 years of service.

 

Roberta is a member of Rotary Club of Tryon and has served on multiple boards of directors including: Tryon Downtown Development Association, Pacolet Area Conservancy, Upstairs Gallery and Mary Black Hospital Foundation.

 

“I feel so blessed to live in such a great small community and I am very excited to be a part of the board of directors of St. Luke’s Hospital Foundation,” said Roberta. “Our hospital is so critical to our community and it is a pleasure for me to participate.”

 

The St. Luke’s Hospital Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 organization established in 1991 to support one of our community’s most valuable assets, St. Luke’s Hospital.  It is made up of citizens who have joined together to raise funds for new equipment, facility improvements, educational programs, and the foundation’s endowment.

 

A gift to the foundation is tax deductible. Contributions are always needed and appreciated and enable St. Luke’s to maintain the highest level of patient care.
