Landrum’s men begin the Upper State basketball playoffs on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at home. On Thursday, Feb. 11, the Cardinals came back from a deficit to outscore visiting Woodruff, 24-8, in the third quarter, en route to a 78-67 Landrum win at Landrum. Here, Landrum senior Jacob Corn is about to add to his 1,000-plus point career total. Corn helped celebrate Senior Night with this and many other plays. On Feb. 9, on the road, the Cardinals lost a 78-74 heartbreaker to Blacksburg, the only region team to defeat Landrum this season.
