Traffic

There were 46 citations issued during the month in this category: one for disregarding a stop sign, one for DUS, three for expired tags, one for no driver’s license, five for no vehicle license, three for seatbelt violations and 32 for speeding. A single arrest was made on the DUS citation.

Criminal

There were eight citations in this category: one for assault and battery (on which an arrest was made), one for open container, one for resisting arrest, one for failure to stop on command, two for petty larceny (both arrests), one for public disorderly conduct and one for inhalation of aromatic carbons. One arrest was made for resisting arrest and two arrests were made for petty larceny.

Criminal investigations

Eight criminal investigations took place during the month of January. These include two assault and battery cases, one burglary/breaking and entering case, four larceny of tag cases and one petty larceny case.

Additional Department Activities

In this category, 36 additional activities occurred including three accident reports, three funeral escorts and 30 warning citations.

Warrant Service

Three bench warrants were issued and one arrest warrant was issued.

Summary
