At the “Warming The View” community event, held last Saturday at McGuinn’s Store in Sunny View, coats and blankets were distributed to all in need. The children were greeted by Santa and Mrs. Claus, as well as treated to a hotdog lunch. PCHS and LHS students volunteered in assisting each child, making them feel special as they chose their new coat and blanket. The outpouring of support and generosity from the community has been overwhelming. “Warming The View” will be hosting a second community distribution this Saturday, Dec. 12, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at McGuinn’s Store in Sunny View. Please consider donating a gently used or new coat/blanket and help spread the word as we help keep our neighbors warm this winter. (Submitted by Lisa Moser)
