It was a cold and frosty morn on Saturday, Dec. 5 when members of the Tryon Kiwanis Club gathered at 8 a.m. to fulfill their duty as part of the Adopt-a Highway program. Bob Swann, Tom Clark, Chuck Davis, Bill Hague, Andy and Sharon Millard, Linda Greensfelder and Ernie Giannini picked up litter along Hwy. 108 from the roundabout in Columbus to Harmon Field Road. They are doing their part to keep Polk County looking good! Pictured are Bob Swann, Tom Clark, Chuck Davis and Bill Hague. (Submitted by Lynn Montgomery)
