Landrum’s varsity football team owns something it lacked this time last year — a winning record.

 

The 3-2 Cardinals (1-1 in conference/regional play) will put that winning mark on the line this evening, when they travel to Powdersville High School in Greenville to challenge the Patriots.

 

Last week, Landrum edged Liberty, 19-14, while Woodruff defeated Powdersville (now 2-4 overall, and 1-1 in conference/region games), 40-21. Opening kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
