Get ready for an afternoon of fun on Melrose Avenue! Children’s Theater Festival presents the second annual Super Sunday in September at the Tryon Fine Arts Center on Sept. 20 from 3-5 p.m.
Check out the Peterson Amphitheater for shows by local talents. We’ll have performances by Tryon’s own Dance Dynamics and the Polk County High School Cadet Band.
Munch on goodies prepared by Friends of the Band and Maria Freeman’s Entrepreneurial Coalition as you watch Kevin Bradley’s amazing juggling feats. Marvel at how the Balloon Fairy creates her fabulous balloon art. And then come inside TFAC to enjoy “Stone Soup.” Porkchop Productions, a Super Saturday favorite, will give their trademark humorous twist to the old tale of stinginess and trickery.
Entertainment and refreshments for Super Sunday in September are made possible in part by a Community Matters grant from the Polk County Community Foundation. Bring your family for a great time.
