Polk County District Court results for Aug. 19

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, with Judge Mack Brittain presiding, 140 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Hayley Michelle Brannon was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Brannon was fined $40 and court costs.

Rhonda L. Cunningham was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Cunningham was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.

Andrew Hunter Davis was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Davis was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Madison Anna Freeman was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Freeman was fined $60 and court costs.

Jordan Brett Greene was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Greene was fined $100 and court costs.

Cortnie Lauren Hartwig was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Hartwig was fined $99 and court costs.

Desa Leann King was convicted of level two driving while impaired. King was sentenced to 18 months unsupervised probation, 21 days in jail with credit for time served, 48 hours of community service, a $400 fine and court costs.

Kevin Andrew Lowery was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Lowery was fined $25 and court costs.

Hannah Lynn McCormack was convicted of possession of open container/consumption of alcohol in passenger area. McCormack was fined $50 and court costs.

Chucky Tyrone McEntyre was convicted of assault with a deadly weapon, injury to personal property, trespassing and domestic violence protective order violation. McEntyre was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 29 days in jail with credit, $2,000 in restitution, a $200 fine and court costs.

Payton Rene Ordway was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Ordway was fined $20 and court costs.

Jhonathan Vill Ortega was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Ortega was fined $40 and court costs.

Grant Logan Paris was convicted of driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Paris was sentenced to two years unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Kristina A. Ramirez was convicted of possession of marijuana greater than ½ ounce to one and ½ ounce. Ramirez was sentenced to 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Webster Daniel Rhodes was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Rhodes  was fined $92 and court costs.

Khambrel Rashaad Ward was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Ward was fined $40 and court costs.
