Azalea Art Press is happy to announce the publication of Toy House at Tryon, a children’s book written and illustrated by North Carolina author Cos Barnes. Cos Barnes will be signing her book at The Country Bookshop in Southern Pines on Saturday, Aug. 15 from 3-5 p.m. Toys from Tryon will be on display and all ages are welcome!

Cos will also sign her book at Grandparent’s Day Children’s Book Workshop for children at the Senior Enrichment Center in West End, N.C. on Sept. 12 from 10-12. Join Cos and other children’s book authors for refreshments and fun activities.

Toy House at Tryon is a timeless tale of the legacy of traditional craft and the sweetness of friendship between generations. It tells the story of a young girl who helps her elderly neighbor hand-paint wooden Christmas ornaments. In the process she learns the history of the Toy House in Tryon, N.C., where many collectible toys were made beginning in the early 1900s.
