In Polk County District Court on July 8, 2105, with Judge T. Mack Brittain presiding, 162 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Sarah Harris Adair was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Adair was fined $30 and court costs.
Michael Scott Blanton was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Blanton was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Charles Dean Cook was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Cook was fined $40 and court costs.
Matthew Dale Crews was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Crews was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Justin Steven Ford was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Ford was fined $50 and court costs.
Thomas Lee Franks was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Franks was fined $50 and court costs.
Ronald Fred Gosnell was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Gosness was fined $50 and court costs.
Cody Duane Halford was convicted of speeding 44 mph in a 35 mph zone. Halford was to pay court costs.
Loewen Pete Henderson was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Henderson was sentenced to 18 months unsupervised probation, eight days in jail with credit, a $400 fine and court costs.
Albert Steven Kerr was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Kerr was to pay court costs.
Michelle C. Lindsey was convicted of assault on government official/employee. Lindsey was sentenced to nine days in jail with credit.
Jacob Edward Lorens was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Lorens was fined $50 and court costs. Jeremiah James Lorens was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Lorens was fined $50 and court costs.
Bryan Scott McDowell was convicted of driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. McDowell was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Patrick James McGill was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. McGill was fined $40 and court costs.
Stephen G. Pettyjohn was convicted of felony probation violation. Pettyjohn’s probation was revoked with 58 days credit.
Charles Edmund Prince was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Prince was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.
Jessica Kendal Rhodes was convicted of level one driving while impaired. Rhodes was sentenced to 18 months unsupervised probation, 30 days in jail, a $500 fine and court costs.
April Dawn Roberts was convicted of second-degree trespassing. Roberts was to pay court costs.
Bonnie Mills Searcy was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Searcy was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Reggie Bernard Smith was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Smith was fined $40 and court costs.
Lara Ella C. Snyder was convicted of simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance. Snyder was fined $50 and court costs.
Kelsey Marie Stanley was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Stanley was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Tyler Austin Stott was convicted of simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance. Stott was fined $50 and court costs.
