“Just who do you think you are, calling me an egg?” says Humpty.

They’re not in costume yet, but these young actors are certainly getting into character! Stephen Blair plays Tin Man, and Ansley Boyce is Humpty Dumpty in “Dorothy in Wonderland,” this summer’s Tryon Little Theater Youth Production.

Stephen’s an old hand at this acting thing (he played Pinocchio in “Shrek” last summer), but 10-year-old Ansley is making her debut this year.

“I’ve wanted to be in a play before,” she says, “but I’ve never been old enough. This year—finally!”

Written by Brian D. Taylor, and directed by Debbie Craig-Archer, the play runs Thursday, July 16 and Friday, July 17 at 7 p.m., with matinees on Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19, at 3 p.m. For more information contact TLT at 828-859-2466, or visit www.tltinfo.org.
