Polk County District Court results for June 3

During Polk County District Court on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, with Judge Mack Brittain presiding, 213 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
John Michael Belue was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Belue was fined $100 and court costs.
Louis Edward Bryan Jr. was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Bryan was fined $90 and court costs.
Joseph Anthony Doan was convicted of attempt to possess firearm by a felon. Doan was sentenced to two years supervised probation, 72 hours of community service, a $200 fine and court costs.
April Dawn Edwards was convicted of simple possession of schedule II controlled substance. Edwards was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs.
Anthony William Ford was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Ford was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Collin Wells Habenicht was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia and attempt to break/enter a motor vehicle. Habenicht was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Jennifer Lynn Northup was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Northup was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Frances Sprouse Puckett was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Puckett was fined $93 and court costs.
Lucas Travis Ryan was convicted of violation of court order. Ryan’s probation was extended one year.
Rodolfo D. Salamanca was convicted of alter title. Salamanca was sentenced to two years supervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $200 fine and court costs.
Carlysheyona L. Smith was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor and hit/run failure to stop with property damage. Smith was sentenced to 15 days in jail with credit for time served.
Angela Michelle Stallard was convicted of impaired equipment. Stallard was fined $40 and court costs.
Jerry Lewis Toney was convicted of assault government official/employee and communicating threats. Toney was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 20 days in jail with credit for time served, a $200 fine and court costs.
Dylan Shane Upton was convicted of felony probation violation. Upton’s probation was terminated unsuccessfully.
Sylvia Elaine Wilkins was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation. Wilkins probation was terminated successfully.
