Polk County District Court results for April 15

During Polk County District Court on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, with Judge T. Mack Brittain, 128 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Gardiner James Briggs was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Briggs was fined $75 and court costs.

William Matt Hamilton was convicted of failure to appear. Hamilton was fined $100 and court costs.

Eanna Catherine Hosick was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Hosick was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, seven days in jail, 48 hours of community service, a $400 fine and court costs.

Heather Nicole West was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. West was fined $50 and court costs.

Keith C. Wilson was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Wilson was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Donald Christopher Wisher was convicted of simple possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Wisher was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for time served.

William Joseph Hickey was convicted of impaired equipment. Hickey was fined $40 and court costs.

Pavel Petrovich Stepanov was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Stepanov was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.
