Allen Toy “Zack” Hyder, 82, of Landrum passed away at his home April 6, 2015. He was the son of the late Toy Andrew Hyder, Sr. and Leila Horton Hyder and husband to Iris Dill Hyder.

He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, a church deacon and owner of Dills Tire and Recapping for over 40 years.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Terry Earl Hyder (Rita); a daughter, Tracie Hyder Kelly (Danny); three grandchildren, Cole Hyder (Kim), Zachary Hyder (Tristin), Zoie Kelly and a great grandson, Colton Toy Hyder.

He was predeceased by a son, Timothy Allen Hyder; six brothers, Grady, Walden, Toy Jr., Garlon, Gordon, and Paul Hyder; and two sisters, Pauline Greene, Josephine Vetter.

The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Fairview Baptist Church in Landrum, S.C. conducted by Rev. Chuck Mullinax and Rev. Jimmy Camp. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
