Jerry Allen Bradshaw, 67, of Columbus, N.C. passed away, Wednesday morning, March 4, 2015 in Hendersonville Health and Rehabilitation, Flat Rock, N.C.

Born in Polk County, NC, he was the son of the late Stewart and Ruth Hayes Bradshaw. Jerry was a graduate of Tryon High School and was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. He worked at Arledge Printers then retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 29 years of service.

Surviving are two daughters, Morgan Bradshaw of Raleigh, N.C. and Stefanie Bradshaw of Holly Springs, N.C.; one son, Jeremy Bradshaw of Columbus, N.C.; two brothers, Jimmy Bradshaw (Rhonda) of Landrum, S.C. and Johnny Bradshaw (Nancy) of Campobello, S.C.; two sisters, Doris Burns of Landrum, S.C. and Delois Elderidge of Fayetteville, N.C.; former wife and mother of his children, Lynn Bradshaw of Columbus, N.C.; also two grandchildren, Abby Bradshaw and Taylor Bradshaw.

 

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 in Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus, N.C. with Dr. Chris Osborn officiating with military rites by the Polk County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard.

 

Family will receive friends from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Saturday morning in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, N.C.
