Jerry Benjamin Vaughn, 78, of Campobello, died Jan. 10 after a sudden illness. Surviving are his wife, Jean Souther Vaughn; sons, Ben (Jenny) of West Columbia and Randall of Columbia; grandson, Dr. Brandon (Rachael) Vaughn; sister Frances Johnson of Duncan; and brother Henry Vaughn of Orangeburg.  A memorial service was held Jan. 11 at Wood Mortuary.
