Goats return to the Town of Tryon lot near IGA. Through a grant from the Polk County Community Foundation, the Pacolet Area Conservancy (PAC) has hired goats to help eradicate Kudzu (and other non-native and invasive species) at the site, twice a year, for three years; this is the second year. On Sept. 29, Wells Farm brought in a new crew of 20 goats, accompanied by Moses, an Anatolian Shepherd there to protect the goats.
