Wolf in sheep’s clothing

When I heard about the new PAC called “A Better Polk County” – one that promised more transparency, inclusiveness and better fiscal responsibility, I immediately thought it was another conservative group coming to the rescue to help weed out the liberal BS that has taken over Polk County. BUT I was way off base. Actually, the PAC is made up of the same group of liberal democrats who are in the Democratic Party. They are trying to hijack the conservative movement with words that have never been a part of the liberal ideology and they never will.
When you read the first lines of their website and recent ads, their catch phrases look like they came from Obama’s campaign playbook back in 2007. Heck, Obama still uses them each and every day to promote his failed policies. It sounds like a medicine man trying to sell his hair tonic in the 1800’s. They will tell you what you want to hear but you will be taking home the opposite. I will provide you with a recent example of this. The PAC proclaims that they are for transparency and are respectfully inclusive, but someone should provide them with a dictionary. They invited Shane Bradley, a republican candidate for commissioner, to speak at their meeting this past Thursday. That seems inclusive enough, given that the meeting was open to the public. When Shane finished with his speech, the PAC asked Shane some follow-up questions. Then, the PAC members told Doris Holbert, Debbie Arceneaux and Joanne Mendenhall to leave the meeting.
It is fair to note that all 3 ladies are registered Republicans who were attending the PUBLIC meeting at the Meeting Place in support of Shane. So much for inclusiveness and transparency. So let me get this straight. They invited the public, but when the public attended, they were told they had to leave.
I wonder why it was even open to the public. Is it me or are they “Wolves in Sheep’s clothing”…
