Former Big Brother Ken Stephan has offered to host a yard sale to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters.
The event will be on August 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Ken’s Home Repair shop on the corner of Highway 108 and Skyuka Road in Lynn, N.C.
Barbecue and baked goods will also be for sale.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is requesting donations of good, clean, saleable items, including books, toys, clothing, household items, furniture, etc.
So clean out your closets and your garage, but please do not offer dirty or broken items!
Any donations can be delivered to Ken’s shop on Saturday, July 26 from 8 a.m. to noon, and on Saturday, August 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Someone will be available on-site to assist.
If you cannot deliver but have things to donate, please contact BBBS at 828-859-9230.
Volunteers will also be needed prior to and on the day of the event.
