In celebration of National Counties Month in April, the Polk County Board of Commissioners conducted a contest for Polk County High School students to design a possible new county flag. Commissioners announced during its June 2 meeting that Chris Morris (front right) won the contest. Morris received a $200 scholarship from the county.
