Casey Ryan Johnson, 36, of Hwy. 176, Tryon, NC died Thursday, May 22, 2014 at his home.
Born in Toms River, N.J., he was the son of Linda Sisk Johnson of Tryon, N.C. and the Late J. B. Johnson.
He was employed as a carpenter with Clay Spencer, Landrum, S.C.  Casey moved to Tryon in l994 coming from Toms River, N.J.
Surviving beside his mother are:  sons  Ryan  and Joshua Johnson, and their mother, Stephanie Jennings  of Campobello, S.C.; daughter Maddie Olson of Wilmington, N.C. and  sons Breaton and Blayne James of Louisiana; two sisters, Cheri Cunningham (Douglas) of Lancaster, PA. and Cristi Johnson of Ft. Meyers, Fla. and a brother, C. J. Johnson of Tryon, N.C.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 28, 2014 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, N.C. with Rev. Craig Scruggs officiating.
Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus, N.C.
Family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Wednesday just prior to the service in the McFarland Funeral Chapel.
