From March 9 through March 23, 2014, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 227 calls.
Officers assisted other agencies eight times, completed 739 house checks, 774 church checks and 1,432 business checks. The sheriff’s office also assisted the public 11 times and patrolled 12,498 miles.
