David Warn “D.W.” Chatman

David Warn “D.W.” Chatman, 73, formerly of Inman, S.C., passed away in Tryon, N.C., Tuesday, March 25, 2014.
Born in Spartanburg, S.C. on October 22, 1940, he was the son of the late Sandy Elbert “Jack” and Sadie Mae (Cooke) Chatman. Mr. Chatman was a retired Drywall finisher.
He is survived by one daughter, Christy Warren (Jeff Geagley) of Saluda, N.C.; one son, Jimmy Chatman of Tryon, N.C.; three grandchildren, David G. Chatman of Hendersonville, N.C., Austin Geagley of Saluda, N.C. and Hunter Geagley of Saluda, N.C. and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday from 10:30-11: a.m. at Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbus, N.C. Graveside services will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mark Hunnicutt officiating.
