Chef Melody Prettyman will host two evening workshops on April 1 and 2 at the Tryon Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
On Tuesday, April 1 at 6:30 p.m., Prettyman will present a health and simple home remedies seminar.
Then on Wednesday, April 2, also at 6:30 p.m., Prettyman will present a health presentation with a meal demonstrating the flavors and attractiveness of plant-based dining.
The event will take place in the Morgan Center, located at 2820 Lynn Rd. in Tryon.
Individuals at these sessions will learn the secrets of increasing energy, reducing stress, preventing illness and delaying aging and debility.
Prettyman will also cover how to live gluten-free and dairy-free for individuals who suffer from allergies.
To accomplish these benefits, participants will learn how to prepare delicious plant-based food and how to use natural health remedies to help fight illnesses.
Registration is limited.
Participants must pre-register by March 28 to be assured of samples, meal service and handouts.
