Gilbert Lazarus Carmona, 28, of Rutherfordton, N.C. died Friday, Feb. 14, 2014 in Gaston County as the result of a traffic accident.

A native of DuPage, Ill., he was the son of Gilberto Matthew Carmona and Carole Janet Kolari. Gilbert was a teacher and a member of Word of Faith Fellowship.

Left to cherish his memory in addition to his parents, is his wife, Storm Sarah Ann Feasey Carmona; daughter Monica Rose Carmona; and special parent Christine Elizabeth Carmona.

Memorial services were Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014 at Word of Faith Fellowship with Revs. Sam and Jane Whaley officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
