Following its move to a more visible location in the St. Luke’s Hospital Medical Building on East Mills Street in Columbus, St. Luke’s Hospital Foundation is introducing a new, updated logo that clearly communicates its mission: to support the successful growth of St. Luke’s Hospital in providing exceptional health care close to home.
“St. Luke’s Hospital has experienced significant growth in recent years, in terms of the quality of care, staff and fiscal stability,” said Meshelle Colvin, executive director of St. Luke’s Hospital Foundation.
“The mission of the foundation is to raise money in support of the continued growth of the hospital.
Our new logo clearly communicates that mission, promoting community support for the quality services provided by St. Luke’s.”
Evidence of the foundation’s support for St. Luke’s is the new 15,000 square-foot wing the hospital opened in December.
This new wing provides state-of-the-art patient rooms, rehabilitation and recovery facilities for post-op recovery from high-tech surgeries such as advanced orthopedic procedures.
This new wing was funded in a large part through local donations raised by St. Luke’s Hospital Foundation’s Building on Excellence campaign.
“Citizens of Polk County and the surrounding area have seen the growth of St. Luke’s and been very generous in their support,” Colvin said. “Having a high quality critical access hospital in Polk County provides valuable and sometimes life saving medical treatment to residents living in our area, and the financial support provided by the community is a tribute to the hospital’s success.”
The foundation’s new logo and office location provide increased visibility to the foundation’s mission to support the growth and improvement of St. Luke’s.
