McGourty’s Pub to feature David Ezell Friday, Jan. 31

David Ezell played to attentive crowds at Tryon’s “Blue Grotto” back in the 1980s. He will perform once again at McGourty’s Pub this Friday, Jan. 31st at 8 p.m.
With a weathered, raspy, seen it all, done it all, soulful voice and smooth rhythm guitar, Ezell’s songs range from storytelling, spiritual to unrequited love songs.
Ezell is one of the great Spartanburg (Hub City) musicians that include The Marshall Tucker Band, Uncle Walt’s Band (Walter Hyatt, Champ Hood and David Ball), Singing Billy Walker, Matthew Knights, Albert Hill, Pink Anderson, Shane Pruitt, Marshall Chapman and many others.
To attend this event, individuals must either be a member or guest of McGourty’s (private) Pub and 21 or older. Contact McGourty’s at www.mcgourtyspub.com and sample a few songs at www.reverbnation.com/davidezell
