Connor Auman, a 17-year-old from Saluda, is working towards his Eagle Scout rank.

Part of his Eagle Scout Project is to build and stock the shelves for Only Hope WNC.

Only Hope WNC is a non-profit organization that helps provide toiletries, personal items, school supplies and temporary housing for homeless youth in Henderson County.

He is collecting toothbrushes, toothpaste, liquid soap, shampoo, body wash, shaving items, feminine products, socks, hats, gloves, towels, non-perishable food, can openers, binders, paper and backpacks.

To help please drop off these items at Saluda Mountain Lodge at Exit 59 Saluda, N.C. Monetary donations should go to: Only Hope WNC, P.O. Box 394 Hendersonville, N.C. 28793. Please specify that it is for the Eagle Project.
