Tryon Elementary fifth grade students enjoyed a memorable day at Western Carolina University on Nov. 16.

The students toured the campus, ate in the dining hall and attended the football game between WCU and Furman.

The students were able to cheer on Tyler Philpott (No. 64), WCU football player and former TES and PCHS student. They also met on campus other former TES students who are now attending college.
