There’s still time to get your tickets for the 3rd annual Boots & Bling fundraising gala for Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.

Hospice of the Carolina Foothills is in the final planning stage of its third annual Boots & Bling Gala. It is set to happen on Saturday, Nov. 2, 6:30 – 10 p.m.

“We are always looking for a little something different for each year’s gala,” said Friendship Circle member, Marybeth Trunk. “This year, we found a great space at the Lodge at Lake Bowen Commons with plenty of room for dining, dancing, and wandering around to bid on silent auction items. We’re going to have a lot of fun and raise some money for Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.”

The theme of this year’s gala is “Stompin’ with the Stars.” Members of the community (like Dave Truitt) are coming as “western stars” (like John Wayne) and have agreed to dance with guests for a small donation.

“We’ve attracted quite a few stars, including Marilyn Monroe, Miss Kitty and Matt Dillon, Clint Eastwood… even Calamity Jane!” Trunk continues. “And you can get your picture taken with Tonto!”

The Lodge is located about one mile off I-26 at Exit 10, just 10 minutes from the Hospice House and Hospice Thrift Barn in Landrum. “There’s still room for you,” says Trunk, “but don’t wait any longer. This event always sells out!”
