Gloria Jean Staton Webb, 70, of Ridge Road, Landrum, died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013 in the Hospice of the Carolina Foothills House, Landrum.

Born in Baltimore, MD on Aug. 24, l943 she was the daughter of the late Daniel T. and Mary Hudson Staton. She was the widow of Gale C. Webb, who died in 2000. Gloria was a member of the Tryon Church of God, Tryon. She was a loving wife and mother and a beautiful reflection of Christ to all who were privileged to know her.

Surviving is her daughter, Lisa Webb of the home; special daughters, April (Larry) Rhoden and Kim (Royston) Brian of Boiling Springs, S.C.; special granddaughters, Amanda and Jessica Rhoden, Courtney Brian and Christie (Trevor) Greer. She was “Grandma Gloria” to Melissa Ravan and Jodi Smith, and special friend to Beth Tucker and her loving caregiver, Sherri Westbrook.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013 in Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus, with Rev. Ken Jenkins and Rev. Lester Lambert officiating.

Family will receive friends from 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday night in the McFarland Funeral Chapel.
