The Tryon Women’s Golf Association weekly event for Sept. 17 was Individual Match Play Against Par.

The winners in the 18-hole group were: first place – Lee Heelan  +1; second place – Joyce Arledge  -1.

The winners in the nine-hole group were first place – Ann Gargiulo +2; second place – Delia Tittle -3; and third place – Parky Flanagan -3.

On Sept. 24 the event will be Captain’s Choice with a Shotgun start at 9 a.m., followed by the monthly luncheon/business meeting.  Be sure to call or sign up for both at the Pro Shop.
