Edgar Mitchell Holden, formerly of Landrum, passed away on August 14.  He was the husband of the late Bessie Ann Allison Holden.

Holden was retired from District 1 Schools where he taught and was the principal at Landrum High School. He was also retired from the Landrum Fire Department.
Services were held on Saturday, Aug. 17.
