Skyuka Fine Art recently announced their next exhibit featuring the works of nationally known landscape painter

William Jameson. Join them for the opening reception of ‘Exploring The Blue Ridge’ on Saturday, Aug. 10 from 5-8 p.m.

This is a show that continues his life’s passion; exploring nature one painting after another. Jameson’s recent trips among the Blue Ridge Mountains and specifically the Appalachian Trail are brought to life on his canvases.

Come and enjoy a trip down the creeks, fields and roads through this award winning artist’s eyes. Let your eyes follow his bold brush strokes through heavy applications of paint, as you are drawn in to familiar and spellbinding settings of the area’s majestic mountains.

This show coincides with the “Tryon Gallery Trot” where 15 galleries, shops and businesses host opening receptions and demonstrations. Project X will play in the center of town, street performers will entertain and free horse drawn carriage rideswill take you up and down Trade Street.

This show runs through Sept. 13. Skyuka Fine Art is located at 133 N. Trade Street in downtown Tryon.
