Her warm personality drew many friends, young and old, over the years.  She was active in community groups and women’s clubs in New Jersey, Florida, and North Carolina.  Helen got her driver’s license in 1934 and drove proudly for the next seventy-nine years!

The family wishes to thank Carolina Home Care staff, Hospice of the Carolina Foothills staff, and the many friends and neighbors who provided such wonderful support.

There will be a viewing held at McFarland’s Funeral Chapel in Tryon, NC from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, 24 July.

Mass and burial will take place in New Jersey under the direction of Leonardis Funeral Home.
