The Board of Directors of the Green Creek Community Center is pleased to announce that Will Arrowood was selected as the winner of the 2013 Nell Fagan Scholarship. This scholarship is named after Mrs. Nell Fagan who was a long-time educator at Green Creek School. The purpose of this scholarship is to reward exemplary young men and women who have a great sense of heritage and community involvement with financial aid. Arrowood is the recipient of $1,000, and plans on starting college at Appalachian State University in the fall.
