Contra dancing comes to The Party Place and Event Center in Saluda again.

Lessons begin at 7 p.m. and dancing is from 7:30 to 10 p.m.

The first night will be Tuesday, June 25 at The Party Place.  Caller is Keith Eustice and music by“Foot Support with Alan Dillman leading on fiddle.

Tuesday, July 23 at The Party Place with Tamara McGovern calling and music by “Foot Support” with Alan Dillman leading on fiddle.

Tuesday, August 27 at The Party Place, caller and musicians pending.

If you can’t dance but want to be a volunteer and help and just listen to the music, let us know.

For new danceres there is a special lesson in July and July for an hour and a half with a caller/teacher and a fiddle player at the Saluda Center at 64 Greenville Street in Saluda.

Lessons will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m.  At the first lesson they will go over movements and then dance for a half hour or so.

The first lesson will be Monday, June 17 with Diane Silver teaching and Alan Dillman fiddlin.

The second lesson will be Monday, July  15 with  Charlotte Crittenden teaching and Alan Dillman fiddling.
