‘What is a good photograph?’
Published 6:18 pm Tuesday, June 4, 2013
June 11 – July 10 are the dates for the Carolina Camera Club’s annual show
that members have been working toward this past year.
Discussions since September 2012 have centered around the question, “What is a good photograph?” This includes how to create and edit a photograph, the rules of composition, the difference between a photograph and a snapshot, the value of telling a story in your photograph and how to prepare a photograph to show.
Approximately 12 members will have their best work on display at the Tryon Fine Arts Center’s gallery.
Everyone is invited to attend the opening to talk to the photographers about their work and about the experience of being a member. New members are always welcome. The opening is 6:30-8:30 p.m.
The Carolina Camera Club meets the third Tuesday of the month from September through May, with the annual show in June. There are no meetings in July or August.
