On Friday, May 24, 2013, Polk Life Care hosted a Memorial Day Cookout honoring participants who served in the military. As an activity, Life Care participants assisted in preparing food and snacks for the event. Volunteer Kay Greene provided music and patriotic songs for entertainment.
