Tryon Elementary honors bucket fillers

Tryon Elementary School had an essay contest on how to best fill someone else’s bucket and how others fill their bucket.
This concept is based on the book “How Full Is Your Bucket?” for kids by Tom Rath and Mary Reckmeyer, which TES principal Ott Sizemore has made into the school’s theme each year. Children are encouraged to say only positive things toward others and help people whenever possible.
This has created a very positive, warm environment at Tryon Elementary. Side Street Pizza recently donated gift certificates to all of the school’s winners.
