John Thomas Mize III graduated from North Carolina State University in Raleigh on May 11.

Mize received a bachelor of science degree in biomedical engineering, with a minor in computer science.

Mize, a Forbes Foundation Scholar, completed the University Honors Program and graduated with Magna Cum Laude recognition.

He is the son of John and Jill Mize of Green Creek and the grandson of Margaret Mize of Columbus.
