The one-mile Fun Walk/Run will begin immediately after the 5K start and will follow a path around the private 33-acre lake. Strollers and well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome on the walk.

In addition to the race and breakfast, the Foothills Humane Society “On the Road Crew” will be on hand with several dogs who are available for adoption. Officer Russell, from the Polk County Sheriffs Department, will be on site accepting donations towards another K-9 following the loss of his K-9 partner, Trixie. There will also be a DJ providing entertainment throughout the morning.
