The Congregational Church of Tryon invites the public join them as they welcome special musical guests Phil and Gaye Johnson.  Second Sunday is an informal worship service to recharge, replenish and reconnect for the up-coming week. This meeting will take place at 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 12 in the Fellowship Hall of the Congregational Church, located at 210 Melrose Ave in Tryon.

Second Sunday is patterned after how the early church might have worshipped. Members gather to hear the word of God, sing some new as well as old songs, celebrate life in the body of Christ with the Lord’s Supper and then share a covered dish meal together.  All are welcome!

This worship opportunity is offered on the Second Sunday of each month. Second Sunday is designed to be an experiential service; people of all ages are expected in a very informal atmosphere.
