Michigan based artist Weatherly Stroh, will have her work on display May 6 at Horse & Home in Landrum.  Stroh, an oil painter and sculptor, specializes in landscapes and animal portraits. An artist reception hosted by Peggy Zimmerman will be held on May 6 from 4-7 p.m.  A lifelong animal lover, Stroh donates a portion of her annual sales to the humane society. 042613---WeatherlyStroh

Working in oils, Stroh is an artist working in a painterly representational style.  Dominant subjects of her paintings are horses, dogs, cattle and other animals.  Her goal is to capture an animal’s expressive nature.  She combines her lifelong love of animals with her love of painting and sculpting in her current body of work.
