During the week from March 18 through March 24, 2013, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 274 calls for service.

There were 10 arrests, 25 citations with officers serving 14 civil papers and nine criminal papers.

The sheriff’s office assisted other agencies 10 times, assisted the public 11 times, completed 245 house checks, 545 church checks, 927 business checks and patrolled 8,174 miles.
