Polk district court results

In Polk County District Court held Wednesday, March 13, 2013 with Judge Athena F. Brooks presiding, 80 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Mitchell Wayne Bailey was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Bailey was fined $40 and court costs.

Michael Ryan Bishop was convicted of level 2 driving while impaired. Bishop was sentenced to one year supervised probation, 10 days in jail, a $300 fine and court costs.

Michael Scott Cochran was convicted of no operator’s license. Cochran was fined $50 and court costs.

Katelyn Frances Cook was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Cook was fined $40 and court costs.

Rashi Dutt was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Dutt was fined $40 and court costs.

Ralph Dale Goodnight was convicted of speeding 95 mph in a 65 mph zone. Goodnight was fined $95 and court costs.

Karen Elizabeth Hartsock was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Hartsock was fined $40 and court costs.

Claire Elizabeth Kuhlkin was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Kuhlkin was fined $30 and court costs.

Shedrick L. Ledbetter was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Ledbetter was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.

Cory Shane Lindsey was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Lindsey was sentenced to 21 days in jail with credit for 20 days.
