PCMS model bridge building team wins at western regional

On Friday, March 8, the Polk County Middle School Model Bridge Building Team placed first at the NC Department of Transportation (NCDOT) western regional competition in Morganton, N.C.
Team members include eighth-graders Samuel Rhinehart and Samuel Kornmayer, and seventh-graders Taylor Warren, Noah Frazer, Hayden Gary, Tiler Pace, Tyler Harris and Dr. Bob Pettis, coach.
