Killingsworth describes his interest in dahlias as a life-long habit since he was first introduced to the flower while in the service in Germany.

This spectacular bloom has many shapes and forms from basketball size to golf ball size and is available in a huge array of colors.

He grew dahlias commercially in Georgia before moving to our area.

A brief meeting for members of the Foothills Association of Master Gardeners will follow the program.
