LaurelHurst and LaurelWoods residents recently enjoyed a visit from Elvis impersonator Rick Wade. Residents danced and sang and boogied the afternoon away. “We had a great time” was a commonly heard comment of the crowd. Wade sang many of Elvis’ well-known songs, including “Love Me Tender,” “Always on My Mind,” “Hound Dog” and “Don’t Be Cruel.” Wade also performed several gospel songs, such as “There Will Be Peace in the Valley” and “Amazing Grace.” Above: Vera Benson and Elvis.
