Patrick McHenry (R – NC, 10th district) visited Tryon Estates last week. Residents said they talked about the inaccuracies of the recent Medicare and Social Security debate. McHenry said the Ryan budget changes Medicare only for the younger generation, not those currently receiving benefits or over the age of 55. Residents said they enjoyed meeting with the congressman.
